If you smoke artificial cigarettes you are participating in the new celebrity trend of Vaping. Apparently it's cool to look stupid in 2015. Most of these Vaping devices deliver nicotine, it would of course be cheaper to buy some nicotine insecticide and just lick the lid.
A person might die immediately but it's only a faster way to go than slowly poisoning yourself. In Queensland for good reasons liquid nicotine is illegitimate so the Vaping is done using Propylene Glycol or Vegetable Glycerin Liquid.
Currently there doesn't appear to be any serious risks just tonsils and mouth inflammation, vomiting, nausea and cough. But think back or Yahoo back:
In the fifties and early sixties cigarettes were considered good for you. Some brands even promoted lung health.
In the early seventies it was found out that smoking brought on stress and didn't solve it. About this time researchers first announced that smoking causes cancer. That took a further 8-10 years before legislators and the medical community agreed to the findings.
Decades later well informed people are still trying out smoking in spite of all the known information. The point of the historical background is that Vaping is an unknown quantity. We all know it causes mild problems, but the question is given a brief history of smoking, why in the world would you want to become only a possible statistic in the history of Vaping.
In the words of Wikipedia currently the limited evidence suggests that e cigarettes are less dangerous than traditional cigarettes, and they carry a danger of habit for those taking up the routine.
So safer than smoking cigarettes is like saying dropping of a motor cycle at 100 mph is safer with a head protection on! Which brings me returning to the title of Vaping, the new insane habit.
Think of all the fun entertaining things you could do rather than inhaling a combusted chemical into the lung area, which your body needs to then find some way of dealing with, ideally, however I wonder how many smokers have thought the same thing during the past.
Most of the Vaping devices which are promoted to me on the internet come from China, not perhaps the most reliable of chemical sources. Given the numbers of folks who are taking up electronic smoking I'm probably just banging my head on the wall trying to save some individuals from on their own.
